A ShadowCast Publication 2025 Collector's Edition
Before it was XYLOS, it had no name.
A world of unparalleled beauty — vast, green and watery, untouched for millennia. Its mountains glittered with precious gems, its rivers ran crystal-clear, its forests stretched to every horizon, teeming with life that had never known the shadow of civilisation.
At its heart stood the ancient spire — twin to the great spire of Elyria, bound to it by a Gateway between worlds. Its surface etched with symbols no living tongue could read, a silent guardian of secrets the old races carried to their graves, and a warning to all who came after.
The warning went unheeded.
When the nobles and aristocrats of Elyria arrived, they did not come to marvel. They came to own. They reshaped the world in their image, layer by layer, ambition by ambition — until the forests bent to the spire, the rivers ran beneath stone, and the unnamed planet was forgotten entirely.
Now everyone knows it by one name only.
XYLOS.
